Brock Davis
is a bit of everything multi-disciplinary designer/artist
/communicator/visual interpreter that created - 'itistheworldthatmadeyousmall'.

He reconnects our attitude towards what might seem simple, yet over looked. Illustrating this with humour... a naivety that many of us have lost or can't revive... Either way - I smiled, I connected and I got it.
What does it teach - Live a little!

Lynnie Zulu

Scottish born Illustrator - Lynnie Zulu's work carries a strong African influence with vivid marks and exotic characters. A text book bio but undeniably true to her style and approach.

Colour... so much colour... and passion for story telling through her illustrations - she captures the eye by mixing emotions and themes.

She was also featured as a guest artist at Pick Me Up 2014 - a shame to have missed it but for more info see her.

The Incomplete Dictionary of Show Birds - Luke Stephenson

"You're the prettiest bird I've ever seen"
A statement once written for me.

And just aren't they the prettiest things.
So unique - unquestionably agile in movement whilst being delicately fragile in size. Also untrustworthy - they are looking right through you...

Luke Stephenson is a English photographer who "creates affectionate portraits of his subjects and documents worlds often hidden from the mainstream."

A Cinemagraph is an image that contains within itself a living moment that
allows a glimpse of time to be experienced and preserved endlessly...

Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg are the wonders behind this visual identity.

These are beautiful, captured moments as soulful photography.
Taking traditional photography and immersing it in isolated animations of multiple frames.

"Visual Graphics Artist Kevin Burg began experimenting with the .gif format in this style in 2009 but it wasn't until he partnered with photographer Jamie Beck to cover NYFW that Cinemagraphs were born. Marrying original content photography with the desire to communicate more to the viewer birthed the cinemagraph process. Starting in-camera, the artists take a traditional photograph and combine a living moment into the image through the isolated animation of multiple frames. To quote supermodel Coco Rocha "it's more than
a photo but not quite a video".

Venture #2014 - a progression, a journey - taking those ideas to the next stage.
So here it starts. Enjoy!

The lost souls - City of Bike.

On a recent trip to Copenhagen - I photographed a series of fallen, unnoticed bicycles. They hurt, I hurt - I couldn't help but document this feeling that the city had failed them and nobody cared.

  - a series of images based on Man-hole covers that I have collated over the last five years. I am a passionate person about many things, and this love affair with what may seem meaningless for many people is actually always on my mind.
