The second lecture was with MMU's finest Jan Moore, a careers advisor for MMU students and graduates.
Although her talk was repeating points that many of us new, she did give some advice that I did not know or would never really have considered. Impressive to note, we can use the careers service up to three years after we graduate (hopefully one might not need too!) and its open all year round!
Her presentation was based on:
-How to be successful
-Networking
-CV/Cover letters
-Skills
The information was good, hugely helpful and I am sure will be most needed in the next few months when we graduate.
